Before becoming a luxury resort, Quinta do Lago was a property in the middle of a pine forest, with marshes and a 300-year-old ruin built on top of a hill.
From this ruin, André Jordan had the vision to develop the Quinta do Lago project. This building was later renovated and transformed into the Casa Velha Restaurant, currently awarded by the Michelin Guide.
